Description
The Puig R19 Frame Sliders, reference 22392N, are designed for the Honda CB1000 Hornet and Hornet SP 2025, protecting the frame, fairing and engine from damage or reducing it in the event of a fall. The crash pads are made of extremely resistant nylon chosen for its high abrasion resistance and impact-absorbing capability, and they mount using a model-specific aluminium mounting kit for a secure and stable connection to the motorcycle. The R19 sliders were designed to fit in between the width of the motorcycle’s stock handlebars and footpegs, so in a crash the stock footpegs can fold up and the handlebars and controls stay off the ground, allowing the nylon slider body to take the majority of the damage. These mid-length frame sliders also have less tendency to catch on uneven surfaces than long sliders. Each slider features a rubber bumper cap intended to help avoid knee and shin injuries from impact during a crash, and the slider impact area measures 85mm wide by 59mm high. The sliders are supplied as a pair for the right and left sides with a grey rubber bumper by default, and the plastic pad can be replaced after damage, sold separately. A wide variety of rubber colours is available to match the bike.
