These are PUIG Pro 2.0 frame sliders designed specifically for the 2024 and newer Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. The Pro 2.0 is a crash protection kit built to safeguard your motorcycle’s bodywork and frame in the event of a fall. It is constructed with a central body made of polyamide, a material chosen for its high resistance to impact and abrasion, while the front and rear pieces are made of thermoplastic elastomer to help absorb impacts. The nylon ends measure 160mm in width and 64mm in height, giving an elongated structure engineered to withstand significant impacts and slide across asphalt without bending or breaking. Its racing-inspired aesthetic features side wings that add an aerodynamic touch while also serving a functional role, as their conical configuration helps absorb part of the impact during a crash. The design is shaped so that it does not extend beyond the handlebars or contact the ground before the footpegs, meaning it does not add width to the bike or scrape unexpectedly while riding. The sliders are sold in pairs. Note that this model is not compatible with motorcycles fitted with tubular engine guards.
