The Puig Pro 2.0 Frame Sliders, reference 21837, are vehicle-specific crash protection developed for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R and ZX-4RR from 2023 onwards. They belong to Puig’s Pro 2.0 line, designed to provide comprehensive crash protection without requiring any cutting or modification to the motorcycle’s bodywork. Each slider uses a substantial Nylon puck which mounts to the bike via a billet aluminium bracket. Nylon is used because it is highly resistant and durable, helping to absorb and slide across impacts in the event of a fall, while the puck size gives the bike’s frame and engine meaningful standoff protection from the ground. An end cap carrying the Pro Puig logo covers the mounting bolt on each puck for a finished appearance. Puig designed these sliders to protect both the motorcycle and the rider, with each puck featuring a rubber bumper on the back-facing pointed end, intended to reduce the risk of knee and shin injuries from impact during a crash. Because the design is model-specific and requires no bodywork modification, installation is straightforward and uses the bike’s existing hard mounting points. The sliders are sold as a complete kit, with mounting hardware included, for fitting to the ZX-4R and ZX-4RR sportbike.
