Description
This Evotech Performance rectifier guard, part number PRN017414, is designed to protect the rectifier of the BMW S1000XR, with fitment also covering the M1000XR across model years from 2020 onward. On these machines the rectifier is mounted in an undertail location that can be vulnerable to damage from road debris thrown up by the rear wheel. This guard shields that component while maximising airflow to keep the rectifier safe and cool. The guard is CNC machined from aircraft-quality aluminium and finished in a durable black powder coating for long-term corrosion and wear resistance. Its elegantly designed matrix is pierced with hexagonal holes that increase airflow whilst providing strong protection from stones, grit and other road debris.
