Evotech Performance designed and manufactured this tail tidy for the Kawasaki Ninja 650, giving the rear of the bike a cleaner, more compact appearance by removing the bulky factory rear fender and number plate assembly. The unit is CNC machined from lightweight aircraft grade aluminium and powder coated black for longevity, helping it resist corrosion and stand up to the elements over time. No modifications to the bike are required, as the tail tidy is secured in place using existing mounting points, making it a straightforward upgrade. A new LED number plate light is included to keep the registration plate properly illuminated and road legal. The standard indicators are retained, and no modifications to the wiring are required, with the design intended to be simply plug and play. All required fixings are supplied in the kit, so everything needed to complete the installation is included. The fitting difficulty is rated 2 out of 5, with a stated fitting time of around 35 minutes, making it accessible for owners comfortable with basic spannering.
