Description
The Puig R19 Frame Sliders, reference 9443N, are designed for the Honda CB650F (2017-2018) and the Honda CB650R Neo Sports Cafe (2019-2024), providing protection for the chassis and engine in the event of a fall. The pads are made of nylon and rubber, with nylon chosen for its durability and impact-absorbing capabilities, and they are shaped to integrate with the line of the CB without extending beyond the handlebars or footpegs. The R19 sliders are designed to fit in between the width of the motorcycle’s stock handlebars and footpegs, so in a crash the stock footpegs can fold up and the handlebars and controls stay off the ground, allowing the nylon slider to take the majority of the damage. Because they do not extend past the handlebars or contact the ground before the footpegs, they do not increase the motorcycle’s width. Each slider features a rubber bumper cap intended to help avoid knee and shin injuries from impact during a crash. The sliders are supplied by default with a set of grey rubber pads, and an additional set in another colour can be purchased to personalise the bike. Installation is straightforward thanks to the included instruction manual. They are not compatible with engine guards.
