The Puig New Generation Touring screen, reference 22440, is a windshield designed for the Kawasaki Z900 2025. It has been developed to significantly improve the aerodynamic protection of the rider’s torso, especially on longer journeys, without sacrificing the aggressive aesthetic that is characteristic of this naked bike. The screen measures 290mm wide, 390mm high and 65mm deep, and it sits 155mm higher than the instrument cluster, which gives it clearly superior aerodynamic protection compared with the standard fitment. It is made from 3mm thick high-impact acrylic, supported by 3mm metal supports that are coated with a textured black anti-corrosion treatment for durability. According to studies cited by Puig, with the original screen the rider’s body experiences around 9.7kg of pressure, while with the Touring screen that pressure is reduced to about 4.6kg, an improvement of approximately 53 percent. This reduction in wind pressure helps lessen rider fatigue over distance. The screen is a model-specific design intended to mount to the Z900’s front end using the supplied supports. Puig offers the New Generation range in a choice of finishes and colors so the rider can select the screen that best matches the styling of the motorcycle while gaining additional touring comfort.
