These R&G Racing Aero Style Crash Protectors are the rear-mounting set designed for the BMW F900R and F900XR from 2020 onwards, and also listed as fitting the BMW F800GS from 2024 and the F850GS from 2022 to 2025. Frame sliders, also called crash protectors, are designed to keep the frame, engine, fairing and other critical components off the ground in the event of a crash, drop or slide, helping to limit damage and repair costs. R&G’s Aero design uses an aerodynamic teardrop-shaped bobbin in place of the traditional round profile, giving a sleeker, more streamlined appearance. The bobbins are made from abrasion-resistant, impact-absorbing High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), which is intended to be the first point of contact with the road during a slide. As the rear set, these protectors mount toward the rear of the machine to complement front-mounted sliders for fuller coverage. They are available in a choice of Black or White. By absorbing and deflecting impact away from vulnerable components, these crash protectors offer everyday protection for owners of the F900R, F900XR and the listed GS models, and are a popular accessory among R&G customers.
