These are PUIG Pro 2.0 frame sliders designed for the BMW S1000XR from 2020 onward, and they also fit the M1000XR. The Pro 2.0 is a crash protection kit intended to protect your motorcycle’s frame and bodywork should the bike go down. It uses a central body made of polyamide, a material valued for its excellent resistance to impact and abrasion, while the front and rear pieces are made of thermoplastic elastomer designed to absorb impacts. The nylon ends measure 160mm in width and 64mm in height, forming an elongated structure built to endure severe impacts and slide efficiently on asphalt while minimizing the risk of cracks or deformation. The sliders carry a racing-inspired design reinforced with side wings that add an aerodynamic character and enhance the bike’s appearance while contributing to impact absorption. The shape is engineered so it does not protrude past the handlebars or touch the ground before the footpegs, so it neither adds width to the motorcycle nor scrapes the ground during normal riding. The sliders are sold in pairs, and the elastic front and rear parts can be purchased in different colors to personalize the look.
