Description
The Puig R19 Frame Sliders, reference 21990N, are designed specifically for the Honda CBR650R 2024-2025 to protect the chassis and engine and reduce damage in the event of a fall or lateral impact. The pucks are made of nylon, a strong and durable material chosen for its ability to absorb impacts and resist abrasion. The R19 sliders are engineered to fit in between the width of the motorcycle’s stock handlebars and footpegs, so in a crash the stock footpegs can fold up while the handlebars and controls stay off the ground, allowing the nylon slider body to take the majority of the damage. Because they stay within the width of the bike and avoid touching the ground before the footpegs, they do not increase the motorcycle’s width or scrape the ground during normal riding. Each slider features a rubber bumper cap intended to help avoid knee and shin injuries from impact in a crash. The nylon ends measure 85mm wide by 59mm high. They ship in pairs with the necessary model-specific aluminium mounting hardware and a grey rubber pad by default, with additional coloured rubber sets available separately to match the bike’s style.
