Description
The Puig heel plates, reference 22007, are protective covers designed for the Kawasaki Z900 and Z900 SE. Their purpose is to protect the rider’s heel from possible impacts and contact with moving components of the bike, such as the chain or the exhaust, that sit close to the rider’s foot. By shielding the heel area from continuous contact with these moving parts, the plates also help prevent excessive wear on the rider’s footwear and contribute to a safer and more comfortable riding position. The heel plates are machined from a solid block of aluminium, which gives them strength and durability while keeping them light. They are finished with an anodised treatment and are offered in more than one colour, including a black version under reference 22007N and a green version under reference 22007V, so the rider can match them to the styling of the motorcycle. As well as their protective role, the plates therefore add a distinctive visual detail to the bike. They are designed as a model-specific, bolt-on accessory that fits the Z900 using its existing mounting points, and Puig provides mounting instructions for fitting. The combination of a protective function with an anodised aluminium finish makes them both a practical and an aesthetic upgrade for the Z900.
