This Arrow dB Killer is a removable noise-reducing insert designed for Arrow Pro-Race exhaust mufflers. A dB killer fits into the outlet of a performance exhaust and reduces the sound level produced by the system, helping bring exhaust noise closer to acceptable or legal limits without changing the muffler itself. The Arrow unit is intended specifically for Arrow Pro-Race exhaust pipes and is suitable only for those mufflers, attaching at the end of the silencer. In general a dB killer works as a restrictive insert placed in the exhaust outlet so that exhaust gases, and therefore the volume of sound, are channelled through a more restricted path, lowering the perceived loudness compared with running the exhaust without the insert in place.
