This is the Evotech Performance crash protection kit developed for the Ducati Diavel V4 from 2023 onward. The brackets are produced by precision CNC machining and are powder coated for long-term corrosion resistance and durability. Fitting requires no modifications to the bike, making this a plug and play accessory that attaches to existing mounting points, and easy-to-follow pictorial instructions are available to download from Evotech’s website. The frame slider pucks are made from high performance engineering polymer, a material chosen to help protect the motorcycle in the event of a spill by sliding rather than gripping the surface in a fall. As with Evotech’s wider crash protection range, individual replacement parts are available, so after an incident you can replace only the damaged components rather than the entire kit. Crash protection of this kind is a sensible investment on a heavy, powerful machine like the Diavel V4, where a low-speed tip-over could otherwise cause expensive damage to bodywork, frame and engine covers. By combining machined billet brackets with sacrificial polymer pucks, the design aims to keep the bike’s vulnerable areas off the ground during a slide while also presenting a tidy, model-specific appearance that suits the Diavel’s styling.
