The Evotech Performance Front Fork Spindle Bobbins are a crash-protection accessory mounted through the front wheel spindle of a motorcycle. They offer protection for the forks, brake calipers and spindle retainers, standing proud on either side of the front wheel so the bobbin heads are likely to be the first parts to make contact in the event of a fall or slide. Each kit comprises two nylon bobbins, two anodised aluminium spacers, a stainless steel spindle, plus nuts and washers, with a hollow spindle nut included when required for a particular fitment. The visible bobbin head is made from injection-moulded nylon mounted over a machined aluminium core, combining toughness with controlled wear. A defining feature of Evotech’s design is that the nylon bobbin head can rotate on impact, thanks to the aluminium spacer system that provides a solid core for the bobbin to spin around. This rotation helps reduce stress, wear and damage to the lower front end during an incident. The bobbins are designed to fit without modification to the bike and are retained securely by the stainless steel spindle and stainless nyloc nuts. Model-specific versions are offered across many Yamaha, Honda, Ducati and other applications.
