This Evotech Performance radiator and oil cooler guard set is designed for the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade from 2020 onwards, providing protection for two of the bike’s most vital and vulnerable cooling components. The radiator guard and oil cooler guard protect these parts from major damage caused by road debris, rubber buildup and stone strikes, while allowing the necessary cooling air to pass through. The guards are CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminium and finished in a durable black powder coating for longevity. Each guard uses Evotech’s signature hexagonal mesh pattern, which maintains optimal airflow and cooling efficiency while adding a refined race-inspired aesthetic. Installation is completely bolt-on, fitting to existing mounting points with no cutting or modification to the motorcycle required. The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware for a precise, OEM-style fit. On a high-output superbike like the CBR1000RR-R, the radiator and oil cooler are both expensive and exposed, so protecting them from punctures that could cause coolant or oil loss and overheating is a sensible safeguard. The hexagonal matrix is engineered to balance strong debris protection with the airflow needed to keep the engine running cool, making this a practical and good-looking upgrade.
