Evotech Performance frame crash protection sliders are designed to protect the Honda CB650R in the event of a drop or low-speed slide. The crash bobbins are made from a high-performance engineering polymer that acts sacrificially, absorbing and dissipating impact energy to minimise damage to the bike’s frame, engine cases and bodywork. The mounting stems are CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminium, and the installation brackets are finished with a matt black powder coating for discreet aesthetics and durability. The bobbins fit to the bike’s existing mounting points, so no modification to the motorcycle or fairing is required, and easy-to-follow video installation instructions are provided. All required fixings are supplied with the kit. Frame sliders are one of the most cost-effective forms of protection a rider can fit, as they help shield expensive components during a tip-over in the garage, at a standstill or in a slow-speed incident.
