This Evotech Performance radiator guard is a protective cover for the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX (2020 onward) and the related Ninja 1100SX, both of which are covered by Evotech’s radiator guard design for these sport-touring models. The guard features Evotech’s signature hexagonal matrix hole pattern that optimises airflow while providing maximum protection from road debris, shielding the radiator without restricting cooling air. It is CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminium and finished in a durable black powder coating for longevity. The guard attaches to the bike’s existing mounting points with no modifications required to the motorcycle, all required fittings are supplied with the kit, and easy to follow pictorial instructions are available for download, with assembly taking roughly twenty minutes. A radiator guard protects the radiator’s delicate cooling fins, which are easily bent by stones and debris flung up from the road. Bent fins restrict airflow and can cause overheating, while the radiator core can be holed by stones, leading to coolant leaks that can leave the bike inoperable and risk engine damage.
