Description
This Evotech Performance rectifier guard, part number PRN015515, protects the rectifier of the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS, with the design also covering the Speed Triple 1200 RR. A motorcycle’s rectifier converts the generated AC electrical current into DC and supplies a regulated DC voltage to the battery. In doing so the rectifier generates heat, so it is positioned to allow passing air to cool it, which also leaves it exposed and vulnerable to damage from road debris. The Evotech rectifier guard is designed to protect the rectifier from stones and debris while maintaining the airflow it needs to prevent overheating. The guard is CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminium and finished in a durable black powder coating. It features a hexagonal hole pattern that provides protection while allowing air to pass through, and it is shaped for a precise fit on the Speed Triple 1200 RS and RR. The guard attaches using the original mounting points with no modifications required to the motorcycle, and the kit includes all required mounting hardware. This makes it a straightforward protective upgrade that shields an important electrical component from impact damage while preserving the cooling airflow that keeps the rectifier functioning reliably.
