The Evotech Performance Crash Protection Frame Sliders are designed for the Kawasaki Z650 from 2017 onwards. Frame sliders, also known as crash bobbins, are intended to help protect your motorcycle in the event of a fall or low-speed slide by absorbing impact and reducing contact between the road surface and vulnerable components such as the engine cases, frame and bodywork. The Evotech crash bobbins are manufactured from a high performance engineering polymer, which is designed to act sacrificially, deforming or wearing on impact to help dissipate energy and protect the bike. The mounts to which the bobbins attach are CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminium for strength and precision. The kit is designed to fit using the bike’s existing mounting points, making installation straightforward, and it includes the two sliders, the mounts and all of the fixings required for fitment. Easy to follow step by step instructions are provided to assist with a hassle free installation at home. This product is compatible with the Kawasaki Z650 from 2017 onwards, and the same kit is also offered for related models in the Z650 family. By fitting frame sliders, riders can help reduce the cost and severity of damage should an accident occur.
