Description
The Touring Screen has a similar shaped base as your bike´s standard screen but, typically, is longer and taller.
Its extra length and height is created by an upwardly sloping rear section over its entire width, designed to deflect wind pressure away from the rider, ensuring an easy, relaxing ride – even on long trips. For some models with very upright screens as standard, to avoid creating unnecessary turbulence, the Touring Screen is just simply extended without any further upwards angle.
With such a popular motorbike like the R1200GS, the further development to the R1250GS understandably involved no radical change. But the new engine is simply amazing! It now has a little more electronics on board as standard, and yet remains clearly recognisable. The vario touring windscreen (VT) with its maximum length of 47cm ensures an almost turbulence-free flow for the adventurous driver. The rear air stream of the spoiler slows the wind flow and the turbulence causing noise is reduced. The vario touring windscreen is available in colourless or smoked grey.
