The MRA VarioTouringScreen (VTM) is a replacement windshield for the 2020-onward BMW S1000XR that combines a TouringScreen-shaped base with a uniquely mounted adjustable spoiler at its top edge. The spoiler can be set to seven different positions by hand without tools, letting the rider increase or decrease coverage and tailor the airflow to their height and riding position. This creates a custom bubble of air around the rider, redirecting airflow to reduce turbulence, wind pressure and loud wind noise, which lowers fatigue and allows longer, more comfortable rides. The screen reduces buffeting that is common on tall adventure-sport bikes like the S1000XR, and the passenger benefits from the adjustability as well. MRA uses a uniquely modified Plexiglas construction intended to provide clarity, strength and safety. No drilling, cutting or other modifications are required for proper fitment; the screen is shaped for the S1000XR and mounts to the bike’s existing fixing points. It is offered in clear and smoke grey options. Listed dimensions for the 2020-onward fitment are approximately 18.7 inches in length by 15.75 inches in width, making it a substantial touring-oriented screen that meaningfully extends protection over the standard BMW windshield.
