The Puig New Generation Sport screen, reference 20886, is a naked-bike windshield designed for the BMW S1000R from 2021 onwards and the BMW M1000R from 2023 onwards. Puig presents it as the solution for riders who want to improve aerodynamic protection on the S1000R without sacrificing the bike’s sportiness or aggressive aesthetics, with geometric lines that follow the German naked’s styling. The screen measures 290mm high by 285mm wide, standing about 100mm tall over the gauges, with a thickness of 3mm. It is manufactured from 3mm methacrylate, a material that guarantees high resistance to impacts, helps absorb vibration at high speed, and provides strong aerodynamic capability. According to Puig, the studied design diverts the air that hits the front of the motorcycle and improves the rider’s aerodynamic protection by 22 percent, particularly around the torso and shoulders, without losing the aerodynamic coefficient. The screen can be installed by adapting it to the original BMW bracket or, alternatively, by using high-quality metal brackets finished in a discreet textured black supplied by Puig, with assembly carried out using six screws. It is offered in smoke, dark smoke, clear, and black finishes so the rider can match it to the bike.
