Description
The Puig R-Racer Screen, reference 22468, is a racing-style windscreen developed for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R and ZX-4RR from 2024 onwards. Puig describes the R-Racer line as the product of its long experience in competition, working with leading teams in MotoGP, including the Repsol Honda Team, and in WorldSBK with the Kawasaki Racing Team. The screens are designed to offer a clear view through them and to be more aerodynamically efficient than the original equipment screen of each bike. Each R-Racer dome is tested in a virtual wind tunnel to confirm that it improves the aerodynamic coefficient, and thanks to its greater height it deflects wind that would otherwise strike the rider’s helmet and shoulders, which helps the rider tuck in when riding hard or on track. The screen is designed and manufactured in Barcelona using advanced production methods, formed from 3mm high-impact acrylic with a rounded edge that finishes at over 2mm. This construction produces a part that is described as resistant, light and durable. It mounts using the bike’s existing screen fixing points as a direct replacement for the standard unit. The screen is offered in several finishes, including a clear version, allowing riders to balance visibility against a more track-focused appearance.
