Description
This R&G Racing Pro Radiator Guard is designed to protect the radiator of the BMW F900R and BMW F900XR from 2020 onwards. A radiator guard shields the delicate radiator fins from stones, road debris and other flying objects that can puncture or bend them, helping to prevent costly coolant leaks and overheating. R&G’s Pro range of radiator guards is cut from a single piece of premium-grade, lightweight aluminium, giving a strong strength-to-weight ratio. The Pro guards feature a geometric hexagonal laser-cut design that R&G states offers serious protection without restricting airflow or cooling performance, so the engine continues to run at its correct operating temperature. The guard carries a textured, matt-finish powder coating that R&G describes as corrosion-proof, helping it withstand exposure to weather and road conditions over time. The modern laser-cut pattern is intended to complement the look of the bike rather than detract from it. R&G also states that the Pro Radiator Guards are easy to install. By combining lightweight aluminium construction with an open geometric pattern, this guard aims to defend the radiator while preserving both the cooling efficiency and the appearance of the F900R or F900XR.
