This R&G Racing Moulded Lever Guard is designed for the Kawasaki Ninja 400 (2018 onwards) and significantly reduces the risk of accidental lever activation from an exterior force, which can lead to a dangerous loss of control. Each guard is moulded from DuPont Zytel 70G33L nylon, a material R&G describes as far superior to other nylon materials found on the market. The Lever Guard was originally developed to help avoid accidental engagement of the front brake lever during close wheel-to-wheel racing, whether from contact with another bike or even a rider, but it works equally well for road riding, protecting your lever from wing mirror strikes while filtering through traffic. The black guard can be mounted to either the left or right side handlebar to suit your setup. R&G Lever Guards come approved by BSB, MCRCB and MotoAmerica, so they meet the requirements of major racing organisations. By shielding the lever from impacts, the guard helps keep you in control if your bike makes contact with another object on track or on the road. It is a practical bolt-on protection upgrade that adds both safety and a purposeful look to the cockpit of your Ninja 400.
