This R&G Brake Lever Guard is designed for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-10RR from 2021 onward and fits on the brake side. Originally conceived in Moto2, the Lever Guard was developed to help avoid the accidental engagement of the front brake or clutch lever during close, wheel-to-wheel racing, where another rider’s machine can knock the lever. The same protection applies equally to road riding, where the guard helps protect your levers from wing-mirror strikes while filtering through traffic. R&G describes its Lever Guards as stylish, easy to install and unbelievably strong, offering serious protection. The special design combines super strength with lightweight properties thanks to an injection-moulded construction, allowing race-approved protection for road or track bikes. The Lever Guard has been adopted by almost every motorcycle racing body worldwide, including the ACU, MSVR, FIM and AMA, and is required for racing under many of these regulations. R&G notes its Lever Guards are used worldwide by some of the world’s best race teams. The BLG0039BK is the black version of this guard. Supplied as a kit engineered for this Kawasaki application, it provides a practical, regulation-friendly upgrade for both competitive and everyday riders.
