Description
The Evotech Performance Spindle Bobbins Paddock Kit for the Ducati Scrambler combines front-wheel Spindle Bobbins with rear-wheel Paddock Stand Bobbins in a single package. The front Spindle Bobbins are crash-protection items made from injection-moulded nylon over an aluminium inner; mounted through the front wheel spindle, they stand proud of the wheel so they are designed to be among the first parts to take an impact, helping reduce damage to the front forks and brake calipers in the event of a fall. In keeping with Evotech’s design approach, the nylon bobbin heads can rotate to reduce wear during a slide. The rear Paddock Stand Bobbins are made of nylon with an inner stainless steel bush and are anchored using a stainless steel, rolled-thread spindle rod. Their hourglass shape is designed to securely catch the C-shaped or V-shaped mounting cups of many brands of paddock stand, making the bike easy to lift and hold upright for storage and maintenance. Evotech notes that paddock stand bobbins fitted through the wheel spindle cannot be used for wheel removal and are designed to support the weight of the motorcycle only. The kit is offered across Scrambler variants including Icon, Nightshift, Full Throttle and Desert Sled.
