These R&G Racing Tank Sliders are designed for the Ducati Panigale V4, V4S and V4R from 2020 onwards and the Streetfighter V4 (S) from 2020 onwards. They are made from carbon fibre reinforced with DuPont Kevlar, a combination chosen to offer excellent crash protection and wear resistance. The sliders are specially moulded to fit perfectly onto the tank, designed to sit on the most pronounced corners and the areas most likely to get hit in the event of a crash or drop. By taking the impact themselves, they help protect the fuel tank, which can otherwise be dented or scratched when the bike goes down. R&G notes that application takes only minutes and that the sliders could save you having to replace your tank, which is an expensive component. They are approved by the British Superbike Championship and the MotoAmerica Series for use in competitions sanctioned by those organisations, so racers and teams have the security of a product that has been heavily tested to meet and exceed racing specifications. R&G states they are made in the UK. This is the carbon-finish version. Combining a protective function with a carbon look, these tank sliders are a discreet upgrade for the Panigale and Streetfighter V4.
