The Puig R-Racer windscreen, reference 20771, is a racing-style screen developed for the Aprilia RSV4 and RSV4 Factory from 2021 onwards, covering the model’s variants. Puig describes the R-Racer line as the product of the company’s long experience in competition, drawing on work with leading teams in MotoGP and WorldSBK. The screen is designed and manufactured in Barcelona and is made from high-impact acrylic 3mm thick with a rounded 2mm edge, a construction that helps absorb vibration at high speeds and resists cracking and scratching. It meets German TUV safety standards. Puig states the R-Racer screens are designed to provide a clear view and to be more aerodynamically efficient than the stock screen, having been tested in a virtual wind tunnel to improve the aerodynamic coefficient. Thanks to its taller profile, roughly 60mm higher than the OEM windscreen, it deflects wind that would otherwise hit the rider’s helmet and shoulders, allowing the rider to tuck in more effectively when riding hard or on track. The screen installs using the original mounting points and is intended as a direct replacement for the factory unit. It is offered in finishes such as clear and various smoke tints, combining track-focused aerodynamics with everyday usability on the RSV4 superbike.
