MRA produces model-specific windscreens for the 2019 and later BMW S1000RR, designed as direct replacements for the standard screen to improve aerodynamics, high-speed stability and appearance. For this generation MRA offers more than one profile. The Racing screen, referred to as the R, is around 44 centimetres long and features a raised central section, the so-called double bubble, developed through wind tunnel testing to reduce wind pressure on the rider’s head and helmet at high speed. MRA also offers an originally shaped screen, referred to as the O, around 41 centimetres long, which recreates the profile of the standard BMW screen for riders who prefer the factory look. MRA manufactures its screens from a uniquely developed acrylic material chosen for its properties, described as shock resistant, shatterproof, rigid, UV resistant to help avoid clouding, and resistant to most chemicals. As a German manufacturer, MRA is known for high quality standards in motorcycle screens. Depending on the variant, these screens are available in clear, colourless or black tints.
