Evotech Performance frame crash sliders are designed to protect the Ducati Hypermotard 950 in the event of a drop or low-speed slide. Made in England, the sliders use a high performance engineering polymer that acts sacrificially to absorb impact energy and reduce damage to the bike’s frame, engine and bodywork. The mounting components are CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminium and powder coated for durability and a discreet appearance. The sliders simply attach to the bike’s existing mounting points, so no modification is required, and Evotech rates the fitting difficulty as low with an approximate fitting time of around ten minutes. The kit includes two sliders, mounts, all required fixings and new pictorial instructions, and weighs approximately 350 grams. Frame sliders are one of the most cost-effective forms of protection a rider can fit, helping to shield costly components during a tip-over at a standstill or in a slow-speed incident. Should a slider be damaged in a spill, Evotech offers individual replacement parts so the kit can be refreshed rather than fully replaced. This makes the sliders a practical, long-term safeguard for the Hypermotard 950 that protects key components without significantly altering the bike’s lightweight, supermoto-style appearance.
