These R&G Racing Aero Style Crash Protectors are designed specifically for the Honda CB1000 Hornet and Hornet SP from 2025 onwards. They offer core motorcycle protection, keeping the frame, engine and other critical components off the ground in the event of a crash, drop or slide. A key feature of this kit is its non-drill design, which was specially created to avoid the need to drill or modify any panels while still offering strong protection, making it an ideal solution for riders who want crash protection without permanent modifications to their motorcycle. The Aero style refers to R&G’s aerodynamic, teardrop-shaped slider profile. The slider bobbins are machined from high-density polyethylene, chosen for its high-friction properties so that as the material wears down during a slide it actually helps to scrub off speed. The protectors mount to strong points on the bike, and R&G uses de-embrittled mounting bolts designed to bend rather than snap on impact, reducing stress transferred to the mounting points. By combining a clean, streamlined appearance with proven slide protection, these crash protectors help shield expensive bodywork and engine cases. This is the blue-coloured version of the kit for the CB1000 Hornet platform.
