Description
The Evotech Performance Crash Protection kit provides frame-mounted impact protection for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. The system uses a through-frame bar arrangement for superior strength and rigidity, so the load of an impact is carried through the bike rather than borne by a single mounting point. The crash bobbins are manufactured from nylon, a high-performance engineering polymer chosen for its ability to slide and absorb energy during a spill, while the crash protection spacers and mounts are CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminium. Components are powder coated black for longevity and a clean appearance. The bobbins act as sacrificial sliders, helping to deflect impact away from vulnerable parts such as the fairings, frame and levers in the event of a crash. The kit attaches to the bike’s existing mounting points with no modifications required to the motorcycle, allowing a hassle-free installation. All required fixings are supplied with the kit, and easy to follow pictorial instructions are available for download. Evotech also offers individual replacement parts, so after a spill only the damaged components need replacing rather than the whole kit. This version is designed for the 2019 to 2021 Kawasaki ZX-6R.
