These Evotech Performance front spindle bobbins, part number PRN011933, are front axle protectors designed to shield the fork bottoms and brake calipers of compatible Ducati models in the event of a spill or low-speed slide. The kit fits across a range of Ducati machines, including the Monster (937cc) 2021 onwards, with the part number also covering Supersport, Hypermotard and Multistrada applications. Made in England from high performance engineering polymer, the bobbins are built to absorb and resist impact. Evotech Performance developed an innovative spindle bobbin system that allows the bobbin head to rotate on impact. This is achieved through an aluminium spacer system that provides a solid core for the location of the nylon bobbin head, increasing the overall durability and impact resistance of the kit. A complete kit comprises two nylon bobbins, two anodised aluminium spacers, a stainless steel spindle, nuts, washers, and a hollow spindle nut when required. The bobbins are easy to fit and are retained by the stainless steel spindle and stainless nyloc nuts. By taking the brunt of a slide, these protectors help reduce costly damage to expensive fork legs and braking components, offering practical, race-inspired crash protection for the front of the motorcycle.
